Thanks for visiting!
Since August of 2021 I've produced various evening newscasts for Fox Television Stations' WTTG in Washington D.C. My career in news alone spans more than 8 years, beginning in 2012 at SIUC's award-winning student production: River Region: Evening Edition. The live student production blessed me with exposure to our local competitive TV stations, which led to my start at WSIL during my junior year of college. Originally hired as an associate producer, I was eventually assigned to fill in for the 6pm weekday producer, and was asked to front my own stories as a reporter. This in turn, led competing station KFVS to recruit me as a full time general assignment reporter during my senior year of college. Upon my contract's completion, I moved to St. Louis to be near family, and produce evening shows for KSDK. Known to that family as "Uncle Loreto", I try to keep close to the kids. The military now has them stationed in Washington D.C., which came at an opportune time for me to reenter news in the DMV after a brief hiatus working in P.R. for Anheuser Busch. If I was lucky enough to be invited for work with you, know that I take a great deal of pride in my work. I will always be interested in how to tell the best story, what we can do collaboratively to improve our brand or product, and what we can do to adapt and stay relevant in an ever-changing industry. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet with you and discuss my ability to contribute to your newsroom, and would be available to do so upon your request. Thank you so much for your time and consideration! Sincerely, Loreto |
